- If a message may mean someone is in danger, SATHI shows a fixed line written by a person and India's crisis lines straight away: Tele-MANAS 14416 or 1-800-891-4416 (free, 24/7) and 112 in an emergency.
- SATHI cannot call or alert anyone, and nobody watches conversations in real time.
- Conversations are encrypted before they are stored. Nobody on the SATHI team reads them unless the person opts in to research review. During the beta, replies come from Google Gemini or Groq; the Privacy Notice explains what that means.
- People can see and delete everything SATHI keeps about them, at any time, in About me.
- An independent clinical review of how SATHI responds in difficult moments is being arranged and has not happened yet.
